In game terms, a republic is usually a late occurence - it is the result of new research, possibly foreign influence and some societal change. I see how it could be useful to avoid confusion when compared to other flags as well - heraldic animals are most often used by monarchies. And thanks again for the input - I have given it a little thought and I think I will modify the current version slightly and remove the eagle. Thanks Spanky! Serious approach gives serious result!I agree. In the end of 18 centuries this could be only republic according to the type of the USA… for the people this it would bring no changes… If we make this assumption about the republic, then in Tsar Peter's times this would be Boyars republic with the orientation to Poland and East, which completely corresponds to the diagram of eastern republics. In 18 century in Russia it is natural only two versions - republic with the new symbols as the USA or Boyars republic… In 18 century old symbols were entirely not the symbols of new Russia Tsar Peter I! Revolution in Russia very wild phenomenon - total uprising - present total war! But concept “nation”, “democracy”, “freedom” are necessary to those, who will pacify this uprising by violence… I've restored Exchange Server VMs in this manner before, as well as our vCenter VM, and all has been fine. We plan to P2V this server (I'd much prefer to throw up a clean VM and import the data, but Sage costs for this are extremely restrictive) in the next few months, and I had just assumed that, due to Application-aware processing/ticking the box to flush logs on successful backup, we could just do away with the SQL maintenance plan (because a restored VM via Veeam is to a point in time, and at that point in time, logs will have been flushed, so if we restore to it, then I don't see that there would be a problem?). However, we don't have the SQL module for BE, and so there is a maintenance plan running daily from within SQL, in order to commit/flush the transaction logs. Right now, we have the DB server of our CRM system, which is still physical, hosting SQL, and being backed up to tape by BackupExec. |
